SG Capital Forest Fund has been established in 2022 and its amount is 53 million EUR.

The main focus of the fund is sustainable forest land investments in Baltics. Currently, the fund’s investors include CBL Asset Management, an investment management company of the Citadele Group, as well as pension plans managed by SEB and Swedbank.

Forest investments, like no other asset, provide a unique combination of inflation protection, low investment risk, attractive investment returns and distinct positive sustainability features. Our goal is to generate a significant positive impact on the environment with our forest management practices and actions. It is especially important that the investment is purposefully focused on the development of forestry in the Baltics.

SG Capital Forest Fund is an alternative investment fund (SG Capital Partners Sustainable Forest and Land Fund I, KS), whose largest investors are leading pension plans in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. SG Capital Partners Sustainable Forest and Land Fund I, KS has established a subsidiary company SIA SG Capital Meža Fonds for the implementation and management of forest property investments.
